Description

The detailed crochet pattern "Boho Square" explains step by step with text and many detailed pictures how to make square lanterns and paper lanterns in two different sizes.

The crocheting is relatively easy and is suitable for experienced beginners. Crocheting with the square frames is a bit challenging and should not serve as a beginner project. Basic knowledge is required: crocheting in rounds, chain stitches, single crochet, half and double crochet as well as increases and decreases.

The PDF pattern includes 15 pages with numerous color illustrations that describe and illustrate each work step in detail.

The appliqués shown on the sample lanterns are not included in this pattern.

Required materials:

  • Crochet hook size 3 and optionally size 2.5 for the tealight holder
  • Two square metal frames in 10 × 10 cm or 15 × 15 cm per lantern
  • Optional: LED light with remote control, electric tealight or solar bulb
  • Optional: Crochet beads, wooden beads, pompoms, feathers or charms
