Crochet pattern for small owl "Lola"

With this pattern, you can quickly crochet small, cute owls. As bag charms or decorative ornaments, they are a lovely and quick crochet project. Without the hanging loop and pearl decorations, they can also be used as small, unique pincushions.

Whether bright and colorful or tone-on-tone to match your favorite bag: there are no limits to your creativity and imagination when choosing colors and color combinations.

Crocheting these cute owls is relatively easy and also suitable for beginners. Basic crochet knowledge (chain stitch, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet) should be available.

The finished owls are approximately 9.5 cm high, 7 cm wide, and 3 cm deep.

Materials needed:

• Cotton yarn in many different colors + brown/black and white for eye details (e.g., Catania by Schachenmayr, Cotton Quick by Gründl, Catona by Scheepjes, or similar) 
• Craft cotton/stuffing cotton 
• Crochet hook size 2.5 or 3 (those who crochet very loosely should choose 2.5) 
• Tapestry needle 
• Hanging loop/cord and beads as desired
