A crocheted shoulder shawl is a classic fashion accessory. Made from gradient yarn, it becomes a trendy companion and can be worn in various ways all year round - whether loosely around the shoulders on mild summer evenings or wrapped around the neck in the wind during autumn and spring.

The "Portocovo" shoulder shawl is crocheted from side to side (or left to right) and exclusively using double crochet stitches, which are interrupted by chain stitches in a specific sequence, creating the beautiful, subtle pattern of openwork lines.

It can be crocheted in a lighter spring/summer version using 3-ply yarn or in an autumn/winter version (4-ply).

Crocheting this shawl is very easy and is therefore also wonderful for beginners. Basic crochet skills (crocheting in rows, double crochet, increases and decreases) are required.
