Description
The “Shabby Stars” crochet pattern makes colorful crocheted ornaments with star patterns for the Christmas tree. Existing glass or plastic ornaments are crocheted over.
The crocheting is relatively easy and is suitable for beginner crocheters with a little practice. Basic skills are required: chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, and increases and decreases.
The step-by-step crochet pattern in PDF format includes 8 pages with numerous color illustrations that describe and illustrate each step in detail.
Suitable for Christmas ornaments with a diameter of 6 cm.
Materials needed:
- Crochet hook size 2.5 mm
- Mercerized Cotton yarn (sport/fine) in different colors (my recommendation: i.e. Catania Solids/Schachenmayr, Capri/Katia or similar)
- Christmas baubles (glass or plastic) with a diameter of 6 centimeters (= ~ 2.3 inch)
- darning needle
