Crochet Treasure Pouch Pattern

This crochet pattern for a treasure pouch made from granny squares creates a colorful little bag for marbles, small treasures, money, or all sorts of trinkets. The pouch is also a lovely idea for gift wrapping or as a party favor.

The base is a simple, effective granny square motif that you can also use for other crochet projects. To prevent small items from slipping through the stitches, you can line the pouch with a fabric inner bag. The sewing instructions and cutting pattern for this are included.

The project is also suitable for beginners and those returning to crochet with basic skills. Chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet are required.
