Description
This detailed crochet pattern creates colorful “Christa” Christmas ornaments with an eye-catching pattern of nested post stitches.
Existing glass or plastic ornaments are crocheted over. The project is relatively easy and is suitable for confident beginners. Basic skills are required: chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet, as well as increases and decreases.
The step-by-step crochet pattern in PDF format consists of 9 pages with numerous color illustrations that describe and illustrate each step in detail.
Materials required:
- Crochet hook size 2.5 or 3 (I used a size 3 hook)
- Cotton yarn/remnants suitable for tapestry crochet (my recommendation: CATANIA by Schachenmayr; Limone by Schoeller & Stahl; Capri by KATIA – all are equally suitable)
- Glass or plastic Christmas ornaments with a diameter of 6 cm
